"Old Apple Trees at Marriot Cove" is a 20" x"24"painting done in Acrylic on double wide canvas. It comes from a photograph I took of an old homestead on Marriot cove on a winter's day. The shores of Nova Scotia used to be dotted with old farmsteads just like this one but after centuries of hardship and the coming of roads and loss off the fisheries, many are only now visible because of their old apple trees.
